Heartbeat Riders of America -- a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to educating heart awareness for the prevention of heart disease.
America's Heartbeat Rider, starring Iron Thunder is gearing up for its “Heartbeat Riders Across America Tour.” Along with roaring, dynamic entertainment, this tour will provide free health assessment screenings and education on addiction, treatment, and recovery.
According of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,"about 610,000 people die of heart disease in the United States every year–that’s 1 in every 4 deaths.” Mikey Pestritto’s inspiration for Heartbeat Riders of America stemmed from the struggle of his only surviving Uncle Anthony "Tony" Pestritto, and the early deaths of Pestritto family members from heart disease. His own struggle with alcohol addiction led him into a greater awareness of heart disease prevention. He learned that besides hereditary factors, heart disease can possibly be linked to alcohol, drugs, smoking, obesity, stress, and lack of exercise. This fueled Mikey to create a new method of educating people on heart awareness, addiction, and recovery.

My Philosophy
I'm not made like any other man I have known. Yet, if I'm not better, at least I'm unique. You must make an attempt to give to percussion a new perspective. A new wealth of invention; an integrity of its own.
Utilize every opportunity to be creative. The vision to plan; The wisdom to perform.
Nothing ventured is nothing gained. It's the resources that are available that count. It takes a team to make a dream. From there, take a dream, turn it into a reality, and then make an organization.
Keep it simple.
